What will KraussMaffei present?<\/h2>\n

During the fair, colleagues from KraussMaffei set themselves the goal of proving that MuCell<\/strong> technology is perfect not only for lightweight parts used in the automotive industry, but also for more complex products that have not previously been the main target of this versatile production method. Thanks to the material and energy savings generated by this technology, you can significantly reduce production costs and reduce your carbon footprint.<\/p>\n

A live demonstration of MuCell technology<\/strong> using a physical blowing agent will be demonstrated on an all-electric PX 321-1400 injection molding machine<\/strong> . Especially for this technology, the manufacturer has developed a new screw (HPS-Physical Foaming)<\/strong> with the possibility of plastic forming with a capacity increased by 30%<\/strong> . Additionally, the APC plus adaptive process control function will be used for the first time<\/strong> with the use of MuCell technology. read more<\/a><\/p>\n

KraussMaffei will present a prototype of the innovative Lion Bike children’s bicycle<\/strong> . Its frame and forks are made of high-performance polyamide 6 polymer, containing 40% recycled carbon fibers<\/strong> . The main components are made in the injection molding process on the KraussMaffei MX 1600 machine<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

Thanks to a groundbreaking and resource-saving mix of materials, CO2 emissions are reduced by as much as 67%<\/strong> , compared to bikes with conventional aluminum frames and forks.
