Operation, programming and operation of the picker (SPX SP1 MC6)
Training description:
During the SP1 training, participants will learn how to operate and set up the KraussMaffei SPX picker. Classes start with a short OHS workshop. The construction of the SPX picker is presented and the robot’s safety systems are discussed in detail. Using simulators and production stations, individual visualization elements of the picker operator panel are presented. Course participants will create their first programs using the WizardX generator for the picker software. The system of gripper collision protection and spatial monitoring is discussed. During practical classes, students start production with the collection of the detail / ingot using the SPX picker.

- Quickly and safely prepare the picker for operation;
- Recognizing and behaving when picker alarms occur;
- Create picker programs using the WizardX tool.

The training is conducted by:

ENG. KONRAD BELKA
Engineer of the Research and Development Center. A graduate of automation and robotics at the Wrocław University of Technology. He gained his experience working as a service engineer at Dopak. In 2018-2022, he participated in many training courses in Poland and abroad in the processing of plastics. He has KraussMaffei training certificates in the field of service and operation of injection molding machines and the Schulungszentrum für Spritzgießtechnik certificate. Using practical experience and acquired knowledge, she co-creates the training program of the R&D Center.
