Exactly on the first day of spring – March 21 this year, the EKO – Energy, Costs, Savings Conference was held at our headquarters in Wrocław. The theme of the event was energy saving in industry, with particular emphasis on the injection process. The organizer was Dopak, together with partners: KraussMaffei, ONI, ONI Temperiertechnik RHYTEMPER®, Białystok University of Technology, PQ System, Cash Flow Group.
During a closed meeting with leading representatives of the plastics processing industry, we shared knowledge and practical ways to reduce electricity consumption in production plants in order to better protect natural resources and reduce everyday costs.
Topics covered during the event included:
– Optimization of injection as an energy-saving element of the manufacturing process;
– Practical ways to save electricity in the plastic injection process;
– Increasing the efficiency of machines using KraussMaffei digital solutions;
– Energy saving in the process of drying plastics;
– Potential for energy cost savings in cooling and heat recovery systems;
– Injection mold temperature control systems as a way to improve production performance;
– Methodology of selection of process parameters.
It was the first edition of a series of substantive conferences organized by Dopak.
