Operation of injection molds (IM-1)
Purpose and scope of the training:
- Acquainting with the construction and operation of injection molds construction solutions available on the market;
- Presentation of the basic problems related to the operation of injection molds;
- Introduction to forecasting and diagnosing the technical condition of injection molds;
- Analysis and removal of mold defects caused by incorrect tool operation;
- Selection of construction materials for the components of the forms;
- Construction and architecture of injection molds;
- Presentation of methods of surface treatment of molds and tools;
- Presentation of methods for drilling cavities, cutting nozzle channels and calibrators;
- Overview and division of injection molds;
- Economic and functional criteria for the correct construction of forms;
- Theoretical knowledge of the problems of designing injection molds;
- Organization of work in the tool shop;
- Failure frequency and preventive maintenance of injection molds. Forms regeneration methods.
