Product quality assurance in the injection process – defects of raw material and moldings (PTS-2)

Training description:

This is an intensive course that focuses on the key aspects of ensuring high quality products in the plastics injection molding process. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge that will allow them to effectively recognize, analyze and eliminate defects in both raw materials and molded parts. Participants will learn how to recognize and identify defects in plastic granulates, which is crucial when choosing appropriate raw materials for production. The training will discuss in detail the various types of molding defects, the causes of their formation and the effects on the quality of the final product. Participants will learn effective methods of dealing with defects in the injection process, which translates into improved product quality. The training will focus on planning the technological process in such a way as to minimize the risk of molding defects.

Purpose and scope of training:

  • Detailed discussion of known types of defects in moldings;
  • Reasons for the formation of individual defects in moldings;
  • Ways of dealing with the occurring defects;
  • Typical defects of plastic granules;
  • Practical approach to quality assurance in the process;
  • Discussion of defects on many real examples;
  • The essence of the process approach in planning the minimization of defects arising in the injection technology.

Benefits of training:

Participants will gain knowledge and skills that will allow them to:

  • Improving the quality of injection products by effectively detecting and eliminating defects.
  • Increasing the efficiency of the production process by eliminating problems with raw materials and manufactured products.
  • Saving time and resources through more precise planning of production processes.
  • Reducing the risk of complaints and warranty repair costs.
