Electric injection molding machines (PX)

Training description:

Technical PX training focuses primarily on the electric series of KraussMaffei hybrid injection molding machines, how they operate and maintain. The design differences of KraussMaffei hydraulic and electric injection molding machines are presented. Short health and safety workshops are conducted. Using control panel simulators, the operation of the PX injection molding machine is discussed, with particular emphasis on the needs of maintenance workers. There are presented differences in settings for electric and hydraulic movements, as well as diagnostic functions provided by the manufacturer (in terms of electrical and hydraulic) and technical documentation. Alarm messages and the alarm history of the operator panel are subject to detailed analysis. The preview cards of the operating parameters of servo drives are also discussed.

Training Objectives:

  • Differences between electric and hydraulic injection molding machines;
  • Instant diagnosis and troubleshooting of the machine;
  • Preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation of the machine.
