Established in 1995 NEUE HERBOLD Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH specializes in recycling and shredding technology. At its plant in Sinsheim, it produces complete technological solutions for washing, shredding and drying plastic waste. Neue Herbold washing lines

NEUE HERBOLD produces washing lines intended for industrial cleaning of details and recycling. The company systematically adapts its plastics machines to new types of waste appearing on the market.

The manufacturer has its own technology center , where tests are performed for customers to optimally select washing machines and estimate recycling efficiency.

NEUE HERBOLD industrial washing devices for recycling are based on a modular structure and can therefore be freely expanded or adapted to new customer needs.

NEUE HERBOLD washing lines can process, among others:

Initial separation of large impurities

In order to avoid damage to the grinding and washing devices, NEUE HERBOLD recommends the use of pre-washing drums, which allow the separation of heavy contaminants such as stones, metals, etc.

Grinding and washing

The NEUE HERBOLD mills with the unique double bevel cutting system can be used as dry cutting mills or as washing mills. By supplying water during grinding, the material is pre-cleaned already in the mill chamber.

Intensive washing, separation of dirty water, separation of organic substances.

The material that has been crushed and pre-washed in the washing mill is fed to the dewatering auger, which separates the dirt dissolved in the water. In the case of materials contaminated with paper, friction washers with a rapidly rotating core are used, followed by intensive cleaners, in which the softened paper is separated from the material.

Separation in a flotation tank

NEUE HERBOLD separation tanks are designed in such a way that they do not experience turbulence that could disturb the separation process. Discharge devices specially selected for a specific material transfer the material (floating and non-floating fraction) to further process units. To ensure a long service life, all NEUE HERBOLD flotation tanks are made of stainless steel (1.4301).

Mechanical drying

NEUE HERBOLD mechanical dryers work on the principle of a centrifuge. The drying results achieved with these devices for most materials are very good and eliminate the need for energy-consuming thermal drying.

Thermal drying

In certain situations, for the absolute reduction of the moisture of the material, it is necessary to use an additional mechanical thermal dryer after the dryer. To ensure the most efficient use of energy, these devices have heating zones controlled sequentially. The standard equipment includes an electronic heating unit.

Silos

An important component of a complete line for the recycling of plastic waste is the storage system for recovered materials. The NEUE HERBOLD company supplies silos properly adapted to the storage of all types of regrinds, especially hard-flowing materials, such as films, fibrous materials.
